H.I.G. WhiteHorse provides debt financing to performing middle-market companies in the United States and Europe, including situations which are time-sensitive or challenging. WhiteHorse has a broad investment mandate and provides senior debt, second lien, uni-tranche, mezzanine, and subordinated debt for refinancings, growth capital, acquisitions, and balance sheet recapitalizations. Credit facilities typically range from $15 to $100 million for companies with revenues of $50 million or more.
H.I.G. WhiteHorse has over 10 years of experience investing in the broadly syndicated loan market. We manage a portfolio of Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) vehicles which invest in securities identified by our rigorous fundamental credit process. Our deep credit experience and industry-specific expertise are augmented by the investment experience and knowledge across the broader H.I.G. platform.
Senior Loan Strategy
Through our Senior Loan Strategy, H.I.G. WhiteHorse manages investments in a diversified portfolio of senior secured loans to small-cap U.S. companies. We believe there are several characteristics that make senior loans an attractive asset class and inefficiencies in the small-cap senior loan market provide advantages relative to the large-cap senior loan market. We draw on our broad experience investing in the senior loan market and evaluating small-cap companies to guide our investment decisions.
H.I.G. WhiteHorse is the credit affiliate of H.I.G. Capital. We invest across the credit markets in the middle market and broadly syndicated spaces for funds specifically dedicated to those strategies.
Our team of debt-focused professionals is located across our U.S. and European offices and draws upon our deep experience in performing credit investing.
